Although my children are older, they still really enjoy hunting for Easter goodies. Problem is the cat and the dog also really like hunting for Easter goodies. Or anything chocolate, really. So last night, Ice and I had to get creative with our hiding spots. Nothing too close to the floor, nothing that the cat could jump on, nothing that either one of them could knock over.

We put eggs in the fridge, on the chandelier in the dining room, under glasses in the cupboard. We hid things in the bookshelves, on picture frames, and above the TV. The ceramic part of the slow cooker was sitting on the dining room table so I put some eggs in there and closed the lid. Shortly after Ice went to bed, I heard the cat on the table, trying to get the lid off. Fortunately she was not successful.

Although both K&J were willing to stick to the deal, I gave them each a pass for the day.
