The other night Ice and I were watching Flashpoint and during the show, one of the cops asked a man to draw a floor plan of his house with all of the doors marked on it. I said I thought that would be easy so Ice got paper and pencils and each of us drew floor plans for upstairs and down and then we compared them.

Turns out it's not easy.

Upstairs, which I thought would be really simple, was the hardest. The weird placement of the guest room stumped me for quite a while and I completely forgot about the door to K's room being set back. I did a better job on the plan for downstairs but still forgot a couple of things. Ice got fewer things wrong but he said my scale was better.

It was an interesting experiment and now, if one of us goes crazy and holds someone hostage in the house, the other one is prepared.

And then you said

what if we both go crazy?

Then we're screwed because the kids would never agree on where anything was.
