Snow day #5 (2005-6).

I spent the majority of the afternoon on the phone with my ISP's tech support trying to solve an email issue. I was so frustrated that I was in tears after I got off the phone. In the end, I had to solve the problem that they created by myself.

However, I did get to enjoy the following exchange:

Tech support: You use Outlook Express for your email?
me: No.
TS: Outlook then?
me: No. I don't use Windows.
TS: ............oh. What do you use?
me: Linux.
TS: ............oh! Wow! So do I! Wow!

I often wonder if they would be less shocked if I was male and younger.
