Where I should be living.
Awhile ago, I mentioned a house that I really really wanted. We got talking about it on New Year's Eve and I dug up some more information.
Approximate age: 150 years.
Exterior: stone, 2 ft. thick.
Rooms: 16, including a drawing room, parlour, and dining room.
Bedrooms: 8, although 4 of them are in the servants' wing which hasn't been used for "several decades". What's wrong with some people? If *I* had a servants' wing, I'd sure as hell use it.
Fireplaces: 3.
Chimneys: 2, each 9 ft. across.
Lot size: 5.2 acres, surrounded on three sides by land owned by the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
Other structures: timber frame barn (approx. 3,700 sq. ft.), workshop, and drive shed.
*sigh*
I know I'll never be able to afford it but a girl can dream, right?

The house started out at $400,000 and it's down to $375,000 now. Still out of my price range unfortunately.
I haven't rented anything for the PS2 yet but I will! Thanks for the recommendation. :)
