The story was simple and not very interesting and a lot of what happened was completely ridiculous. But who cares? The cinematography, effects, and sounds were spectacular. And some scenes were simply stunning. Like Hero and other movies of this type, it was worth watching for those things alone.

It was too slow moving, had a poor story, some wacky dialogue, and inconsistencies galore. But! The choreography was pure art, some of the fight scenes were simply gorgeous and extremely creative, and like Ripley says, the cinematograpgy was spectacular.
