Fanning was carried around screaming through the whole movie. She irritated me a bunch. And Robbie was the expendable crew member. There were many glaring inconsistencies, Cruise was just plain wrong, and the Speilberg version of the tale is annoying (here is the church and here is the steeple and this is me ridiculing all of the people). Do yourself a favour and see the original.
