I didn't care for it at all. It wasn't exciting or frightening or particularly interesting. It was, however, disappointing. I don't blame Depp or King (upon whose novel this is based) but I will point the finger a Koepp for the screenplay. Give it a miss.Added 01 January 2005 at 12:35 AM
I read the Stephen King story a long time ago so I wasn't surprised by anything. I'm not sure how well the movie followed the story but I think it was close enough.
Depp was good even though he had bed head for most of it, Turturro was effectively creepy, Bello and Hutton played their parts well. I wouldn't call it a great movie but it was alright.
