It's all in the shadows. The entire film depends entirely upon the lighting, and it was expert. It's a comic book story with occasionally a Tim Burton's Batman look and feel, excellent quips, terrific delivery by Paltrow (who genuinely carries off the 30s clothing and hair), and a lot of fun. It's outlandishly preposterous and definitely worth seeing.
