Synopsis: A robot is suspected of killing his designer. Based on the novel by Isaac Asimov.
There were a few cute lines, Smith was buff, and I lost count of how much product placement there was. Sonny was impressive to see but that was about it. The action scenes were flat, the acting was was subpar, and I was disappointed.Added 10 October 2004 at 10:12 PM
The movie people have to stop making such deceiving trailers. When my husband saw the trailer for this one, I thought his head was going to explode. Then we watched the movie and it turned out to be nothing like what we thought it was going to be.
The action scenes were good, the effects were good, the story was good, and the robots looked great. Will's shower scene was much too brief but other than that, I really liked it.
Oh, and I was impressed that they had the wisdom to use "suggested by" in the credits, rather than "based on" Asimov's book. Smart.
