Ripley's movie review

The acting was terrific, the characters were quirky and memorable, the casting was nearly perfect, and it was done in an interesting and unusual way (part drama, part comedy, part documentary, partly animated). I didn't know anything about the comic books beforehand or about Pekar but I really enjoyed this movie. It was very very good. Recommended.
