Directed by: John Ketcham
Starring: Estella Warren, John Hannah, John Kapelos, Tom Butler, Aaron Pearl, Tim Henry
Synopsis: A young single mother accuses a well-respected doctor of rape. Based on a true story.
I started watching this and thought, wait a minute, I just read this story in Reader's Digest. Sure enough, they changed the names, places, some of the details, and compressed the timeline but it's obviously the case against Dr. John Schneeberger. I won't name the woman here although RD did and they even called her a Canadian hero. For what it's worth, I agree.
Back to the review: Hannah is great, Warren is good, the case is fascinating (even shocking at times), and the movie is pretty good, too. Worth watching.
That was awful. Bad writing, bad acting, bad camera work. Based on a true story but dealt with in such an amateur fashion it was horrendous.
