Synopsis: A headstrong Southern belle has a little trouble in the romance department.
Davis was great, the dialogue was wonderful, and I loved the dresses. However, the similarities to Gone With the Wind were glaring. Some characters and scenes seemed to be lifted right out of the book. Considering Davis was turned down for the part of Scarlett and, so I hear, was given this role/movie as a consolation, it certainly made me wonder. Worth watching for Davis's performance though.
