Starring: Sergei Dreiden, Mariya Kuznetsova, Leonid Mozgovoy, David Giorgobiani, Aleksandr Chaban, Maksim Sergeyev
Synopsis: A dream-like tour of Russian history and The Hermitage. In Russian.
The only movie I have ever seen that was done in one continuous shot. I can't imagine the amount of planning that must have required. And the cast was huge.
The story wasn't very engaging although that could be because I was often so captivated by the setting, the paintings, the sculptures, the architecture, that I forgot to read the subtitles. It made me wish that I understood Russian so I wouldn't have had to read. I liked how it ended though. It was very fitting.
Worth watching for the way it was made and for the tour of The Hermitage. Don't worry about the story.
