Tom looked great (full frontal male nudity!) but he wasn't believable as a sixteen year old and his character came across as desperate more often than not. The narration was pretty dry and I'm not sure why Tom didn't do it since it was his character speaking. Also, the music was quite often at odds with what was happening onscreen and I found that irritating. The movie was a bit steamy at times though and I loved Alberta Watson, particularly when she sang.
