Genie nominee: Supporting Actor (Sean Sullivan).
Nick is young and buff with a non-obnoxious voice and he actually acts. I'm not sure which of those things is more shocking.
The movie is a little too choppy, a little too heavy on the romance, and a little too loose with the facts. It's not terrible though and really, how often do you get to see a movie about a Canadian rower?
