Can't say I liked the camera work but it certainly was interesting. There was blood and gore but not as much as I expected and the acting was mostly ok. I had a bit of trouble believing that a bike courier could become a commando in just a couple of days (he was stupid enough to make the same mistake more than once. c'mon, idiot, how many times does it take before you realize that yelling "hello" is a bad idea?) but otherwise, I kinda liked it. Worth watching if you're into zombie and/or end-of-the-world movies.
Stick around to the end of the credits for an alternate ending, one I actually liked better. And since I am keeping score, there was full frontal male nudity.
Is there another way to say "blood and gore"? There's plenty in this film. There's also a brilliant score and an eerily quiet London that really impressed me. I liked that the nobody bicycle courier became the reluctant hero, but I wasn't pleased with the ending. Still, worth watching. I liked it.
