Ripley's movie review
Pacino is very good as the sensitive clown. Kinda cute, too. Hackman is very good as the man who has his life all mapped out. Not so cute though. Lynch, who always freaks me out (meaning, I guess, that he's not even close to cute), gives an amazing performance, especially considering this was his very first movie. The first half of the film is a bit slow but the second half is great with some very powerful moments. Worth watching.
