When I bought this movie, Ice said he was surprised that I would want a movie that starred Kevin "I only know how to play one role" Costner. My answer was that it's a great movie despite the fact that he put himself in it. I may have also mentioned that I think Rodney A. Grant is really gorgeous and that helps me ignore Costner.
It's visually stunning and well acted (mostly) with a touching story. Graham Greene is terrific (he almost always is), McDonnell is very good, and Grant's Wind in His Hair is my favourite character. He's also gorgeous but I may have said that already. Recommended.
