Directed by: Richard Fleischer
Starring: Charlton Heston, Leigh Taylor-Young, Chuck Connors, Joseph Cotten, Brock Peters, Paula Kelly, Edward G. Robinson, Leonard Stone
Synopsis: It's the over-crowded NYC of the future and there is an extreme food shortage.
Wow, Heston sweats like a horse.
Soylent Green has a very Star Trek (TOS) feel to it, especially with its view of the future where there is rampant over-crowding, 70s decorating, and no regard for racial differences. I like that. I also thought Robinson's death scene was excellent. You really should see it once, but once will likely be plenty.Added 04 February 2004 at 7:23 PM
