There were some obviously expensive scenes and some very cheezy camera effects and occasionally some tremendously bad acting, but this one stuck so close to the comic using all the comicbook powers, the Phantom Zone, the effects of the yellow sun, .... it was great for DC Superman fans. It hasn't aged particularly well but the story is still enjoyable and the laughs are still there. See it again.
