I expected a stereotypical romantic comedy and I wasn't disappointed there, but it was funnier than I had anticipated. There were parts which looked entirely natural or ad libbed and there were parts that appeared to write themselves. It's cute but not much more.
Added 18 January 2004 at 2:21 PMI like Hudson in pretty much everything she does but whenever I see McConaughey on screen, I have this urge to slap him. Don't know why, I just do.
The movie is mildly entertaining, funny now and then, but that yellow dress is spectacular.
