Synopsis: In Australia in 1931, three aboriginal girls are taken from their mothers and sent to a government-run boarding camp. They promptly escape and begin the long journey home. Based on a true story.
Good acting and an interesting story but it didn't do a very good job of conveying a sense of distance and time. The movie takes place over nine weeks but it feels like only one or two.
It's worth watching though. And be sure to catch the updates at the very end. For me, they were the most powerful thing about the whole movie.Added 24 November 2003 at 10:17 AM
