Directed by: Burr Steers
Starring: Kieran Culkin, Claire Danes, Jeff Goldblum, Jared Harris, Amanda Peet, Ryan Phillippe, Bill Pullman, Susan Sarandon, Rory Culkin, Peter Tambakis
Synopsis: A disaffected teenager rebels against his family, school, and pretty much everything else.
(Kieran) Culkin is good, Goldblum is less annoying than usual, Pullman (in a small role) is very good, and Sarandon has this character down to a science. I have to wonder though... doesn't she ever get tired of dying of cancer?
The story is just ok, but maybe I don't have much patience for self-centred teenagers. I wouldn't rush out and rent it but if it's on, it's watchable.
