Weaver (as me) is terrific, Henn (as Newt) screams a lot but she's sorta cute, Paxton (as Hudson) adds some unintentional humour, and the aliens (and everything associated with them) are really quite disgusting.
It's very dark with lots of jump-out-of-your-seat moments and the sets/effects are fantastic. The final battle scene in particular is really great.
Recommended for those who like their movies... gooey.
An excellent sci-fi thriller that beautifully, and somewhat surprisingly, withstands the test of time. Ripley (as Ripley) is the strong, practical heroine, and saves everyone repeatedly, and Newt (as a younger version of me) screams a lot but saves everyone's bacon at least once. It's my favourite of the Alien series and a must-have movie.
