Alright, the idea of the back and forth between the two genres was good, but even that got old fast. The movie itself wasn't impressive, Richard Gere grated on my nerves and I'm not sure why this deserved a nomination. Skip it because you're not missing anything.
Added 31 August 2003 at 7:46 PMI liked the way it was made and I particularly liked the tap dancing scene. Brilliantly done. The music was good, the dancing was good, the story was ok. Worth watching.
