Marvel's Daredevil is faithfully recreated from the comic with story intact, but 30 years of comic history comes across awfully slowly in movie time. It felt like a precursor to a sequel which is disappointing because it should have made its own way.

Jennifer Garner's Elektra was a total letdown. The character is a mere shadow of her comicbook self. On the other hand, perhaps this movie will spin her off into her own movie which will have more leeway and latitude. We can only hope.

Some of the stunts and effects were alright and I laughed out loud more than once (where I was supposed to, even). But the dialogue was terrible and whoever cast Affleck in this role should be shot.
