Ripley's movie review

The dialogue is mostly bad and there are some logic issues but there's plenty of action, the stunts are big, the effects are cool, the story is much simpler (and, in my opinion, better), the sets and cinematography are good, and, as Ice said, it's truer to the game.

It's a fun movie and I liked it.

Newt's movie review

There are some very big, very cool stunts that fall somewhere between Indiana Jones and James Bond but they are so very Lara Croft. I appreciated that the movie could well have been the next in the game series.

There were some peculiar sound effects additions like a bus and an awning tearing, but I can forgive those. It's action-packed, globe-travelling, exciting and lots of fun. Own it.
