Directed by: Stephen Daldry
Starring: Nicole Kidman, Julianne Moore, Meryl Streep, Stephen Dillane, Ed Harris, Jack Rovello, John C. Reilly
Synopsis: The exploration of the writing, reading and living of Mrs. Dalloway, a character created by Virginia Woolf.
It's a fairly complex story that gets presented onscreen very, very well. The portayal of each somber, unhappy character is flawless, but I think Ed Harris gave the best possible performace here, though that may be because his character was the only one allowed to act physically on his emotions.
I can't say that I enjoyed it because it was filled with difficult themes, but it was very good and incredibly well acted.Added 19 July 2003 at 6:41 PM
Amazing performances from everyone. The story is complicated, yet very engrossing, and I liked it a lot.Added 08 February 2004 at 3:51 AM
