Outstanding performance from Thurman. She portrayed her character's desperation perfectly. Lewis, as the shallower but in some ways, more together best friend, was also good, as was Rowlands. Great performances from the entire cast, really. I swear I've met and/or been friends with all of these people.

It's a good movie and worth watching.
