One of the better adaptations of a Stephen King novel. The story is good, there's plenty of tension, and many scenes are extremely painful to watch. Kathy Bates is absolutely brilliant.

I do have one complaint though. I read the book in 1987 when it was published and one scene in it still haunts me. It was toned down for the movie and I really wish they hadn't done that.

Still, it's a very good movie and if you haven't seen it, you should.
