Newt's movie review

It was clear that the movie was from a play, but it worked very well. Bogey was one rough looking character, but he showed his sensitive side expertly. Grapewin stole the show, though. I loved his character. I also loved the way, at one point, when Bogey was centred in the frame and different faces kept entering the frame on either side. Not exactly special effects as we know them, but it looked great.

The backdrops were bad, but the romance scene during a gunfight was really tremendous. I recommend this movie.
