The initial ‘drunken boxing’ scenes were great and the other fight scenes were good enough but the rest of the movie was only so so. Not nearly as entertaining as Jackie Chan movies usually are. I wouldn't waste your time.
Added 13 March 2003 at 1:31 AMIt is ridiculously silly with bad jokes, slapstick comedy, and plenty of Stooges humour. Jackie puts in his usual 110% performance during every amazing fight sequence, and the orchestration is superb. The physical humour is sometimes forced and occasionally it feels like it's gone just a bit too far, but that's typical of Chan's movies. Anita Mui gives up an amazing performance.
It's not bad as long as you're not expecting much beyond exceptional Chan fight scenes and plenty of slaptstick. Nothing really tremendous here.
