Ripley's movie review

Loved the effects, liked the story, enjoyed the soundtrack. I didn't realize until after it was over that it was directed by Frakes. That made the "Make it so, Number 1" comment even funnier. It's worth watching just for the effects.

Newt's movie review

There were almost as many shoutouts as inconsistencies. And I DID catch the two Frakes cameos, and he's put on a few pounds. French Stewart and the MacGyver stuff went well enough together, but on the whole, it was suitable for your pre-teen or someone without any knowledge of practical physics. I'm sure you Flash fans will have a problem with it.
