Directed by: Rex Bromfield
Starring: Glynnis O'Connor, Burton Cummings, Paul Sorvino, Don Johnson, Trudy Young
Synopsis: An illiterate young woman goes to Los Angeles in an attempt to regain custody of her son.
It's very early 80s -- the clothes, the hair, the lighting, the sound. The story is a little too sweet but the acting is good enough and the songs are great (all Burton's). I can't really recommend it for everyone, but fans of Cummings (like me) will enjoy it, especially the scene where he plays the piano naked. Oh and when he sings too, of course.Added 10 February 2003 at 12:39 AM
