Newt's movie review

The 1960's cartoon is brought to life successfully. I was pleasantly surprised that this movie didn't suck, but I can really only recommend it if you've seen the original series and you've had the two drink minimum. There are a lot of marijuana jokes and most of them are funny, but it still manages to remain a family movie.

The set looked very Disney, there were times when I could have sworn Lillard was Casey Casum, there were a bunch of shout-outs, Scooby was obviously CGI, there were some laugh out loud parts, some interesting cameos, a really good soundtrack, some obvious edits, but overall it was OK. Better than I expected. I must give kudos to Lillard for his great skill because he carried this movie.

Ripley's movie review

Lillard really nailed Shaggy's voice. I was impressed. Scooby was cool, I laughed out loud at times, and my kids found it entertaining. It's not destined for my favourite movies list but it's not bad.
