Synopsis: An American offensive into Somalia to capture two Somalian leaders has catastrophic and fatal results. Based on an actual event.
The cinematography was simply amazing. Stunning, in fact. It was fast, exciting, action-packed, and graphic. It had all the right elements: get to know the characters, feel for them, feel with them, and get involved in all the events. Argue all you like about how close to reality it was, this film is intense and worth a look. See it.Added 28 December 2002 at 5:56 PM
The acting was good and the cinematography was fitting but I didn't care for the movie all that much. I wasn't on the edge of my seat like I'd hoped to be and I didn't really feel for the characters. In fact, for the most part, they all blended together for me. (and yes, it's possible to say that and to say that the acting was good)
However, it was based on a true event so, for that reason alone, it's worth seeing.Added 30 December 2002 at 2:01 AM
