Newt's movie review

This is a Must Watch movie.

I had a vague idea about the plot, I knew it was subtitled, I knew it involved lesbians, but that's about all I knew before sitting down to watch. And I will watch it again.

I was riveted. I was totally taken by surprise. I was filled with emotions like shock and outrage and fear and passion and joy. I was so entirely taken in that I forgot it was a movie. I cannot say enough about the brilliant acting by Schrader and KŠ–hler and the rest of the cast because they genuinely brought me into their reality.

It's very complicated with subtle nuances that could have evolved into entire storylines of their own, but didn't, and stayed true to the story at hand. It's a truly great film.

I could go on and on, but I won't. Go see it. Now.
