Directed by: Neal Slavin
Starring: William H. Macy, Laura Dern, David Paymer, Meat Loaf Aday
Synopsis: A non-Jewish couple find out what it was like to be Jewish in America in the 1940s. Based on a novel by Arthur Miller.
I liked it. Macy did a great job of conveying the bewilderment of the main character and it was kinda cool to see Dern dressed up like trailer trash. Meat Loaf, too, was good as the neighbour you really don't want.
One slightly off-topic question though: What's with "Meat Loaf Aday"? Does he really believe we'll watch the movie and think, "Oh, that's not Meat Loaf, the singer; that's Meat Loaf *Aday*, the serious actor!"? C'mon.Added 22 November 2002 at 10:45 AM
