The effects were cheesy but the stunts were astounding. The helicopter scene was terrifically well shot, and the dirt piling into the car still makes me tense. It's a good flick, it's true to the comic, Christopher Reeve must have been a really secure guy to be wandering around in tights so much, and nobody but Margot Kidder could be Lois Lane.
