We rented this movie on a night when the kids were away because I wanted something that would take full advantage of the stereo. It didn't disappoint me in that respect.
The concert scenes and the music are great. I'm not a big fan of Mark Wahlberg but he did an ok job in this one. Jennifer Aniston was better than I expected. Rent it for the music, not the acting though.

It really felt like this movie was trying hard to be something else, like maybe Almost Famous or This is Spinal Tap, but it's well short of either of them. It's worth noting, however, that "Stand Up and Shout" is still running through my head.
