The actors were really well chosen, I think. Even Madonna and especially Rosie. It's a great story about women and baseball. And it's very cool that it's based on a Canadian Tale!

Ripley's movie review
Is it just me or does Geena look like a walking mannequin in this movie? For a supposed farm girl, she's awfully plastic-y looking.
Anyway.... the movie is good with some humour and some tears. And even Madonna pulls off a decent performance. Worth watching.
