It's got a great soundtrack.

I intend to make the Kid watch every Molly Ringwald/John Hughes movie just to prove that she didn't invent being a teenage girl.

Watched this again the other night, partly because I'll watch anything with James Spader multiple times and partly because of the clothes. Wow, those clothes.

The movie? It's ok. Predictable and full of teenage angst but watchable.
