Newt's movie review

This was a really good adaptation and very well done. The only complaints I heard were to the effect that some scenes from the book were left out. The effects were terrific, the acting good, the characters believable, and the lighting was awesome. I look forward to the sequel.

Ripley's movie review

When I saw this movie, I knew it was about kids and wizards and that's about it. I hadn't read the book (I still haven't) so I could only judge it as just a movie, not as an adaptation.

It was great! It was thrilling and fascinating and I loved the effects and props, especially the chess set. Very well done and I highly recommend it.
