On DVD I watched Nick Cage and Angelina Jolie star in what the website calls "a fast-paced 90s version of the 1974 cult classic". Hunh. Now I gotta go rent the original to see if it's as predictable, dreary, and has as many shots of the brake pedal.
The good bits include: Jolie, Jolie as blonde, cars, car chases, and me getting some tips on how to break into particular vehicles.
I don't think this film can be saved.
