Newt's movie review

I loved it. The animation was spectacular, the story good, the characters were good, the chosen voices were good, the soundtrack fit perfectly. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

A must rent.

Disclaimer: there are some glaring similarities to other movies I really enjoyed, but that didn't detract from the film.

Ripley's movie review

I wasn't crazy about the storyline of this movie but I was amazed by the animation. The attention to detail was brilliant. Several times, during action sequences, I forgot that those weren't real actors on the screen. Closeups, OTOH, weren't quite as realistic. They still don't have facial expressions and mouth movements quite right but I expect they'll get those things nailed down in the not so distant future.

Definitely worth a rental, if not a purchase.
