Newt's movie review

It's a nice movie. Really, really nice. The story is nice, the characters are nice, the actors are nice, the music is nice, the wardrobe is nice. Everything is so nice in fact, that you should have a glass of milk while watching it.

Ripley's movie review

Nice is an excellent word for this movie.

With all the hype, I expected a torrid romance and kinky things done with melted chocolate. I expected to say, "Wow! I want some of that!" when it was over.

Reality was a very different thing.

Juliette Binoche is lovely. Her daughter is sweet. The village is full of quirky characters, the best of which is Judi Dench. Johnny Depp fixes a door.

But there's no torrid romance. There are no naked bodies with melted chocolate drizzled all over them. Nothing kinky at all.
